Leaf rubbings competition

It's harvest time and Primrose Woodmouse is helping her father collect berries.  A storm approaches and Primrose is soon sent home but instead, she decides to go for a walk in a cornfield. As she wanders further and further away she becomes lost. Poor Primrose - will she ever find her way home again?

We're celebrating Autumn with Brambly Hedge with a fantastic competition! You could be in with a chance of winning 1 of 10 copies of Autumn Story, a delightful tale about family and friendship.

All we want you to do is make a leaf rubbing. There should be plenty of leaves to choose from lying on the ground at this time of year!

Choose your leaf, put it on a flat surface and place a sheet of paper on top of it. Rub a pencil or a crayon over the paper, and watch as the leaf starts to appear! You can make it any colour you like, or even colour it in when you're done!

Post us your leaf rubbing, or email us a picture to the address below to enter!
