We are a charity with members who help us to work hard for
the protection of the wildlife habitats and species in the old county of
Brecknock and we are based in the town of Brecon. We have 22 nature reserves in
the southern part of Powys and the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Wildlife Watch Clubs
Volunteers run Wildlife Watch groups and if you are an adult
and would like to start a group please see webpage or contact Brecknock
Wildlife Trust for more information.
Wildlife Trust currently offers a membership package for schools and other
youth organisations. See website or contact Office for details.
Please see website and social media for details of events, some of our activity days are
specifically aimed at young people.
Get your parents to take you to one of our nature reserves, a great place to try out your Watch spotter sheets!
Older children can try one of our nature reserve work parties in the school holidays. Suitable for those looking to gain the Kestrel and Nature Ranger Awards, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Contact office for details of work parties.
