Kim Wedlock sculpture competition

We had three beautiful red fox necklaces, hand made by designer Kim Wedlock, to give away in our Spring 2016 issue of Wildlife Watch!

For the chance to win one of these stunning foxes, we asked our Wildlife Watch readers to make their very own animal sculpture out of whatever materials they wanted to!

We had some fantastic entries. From lego, to milk bottles and clay, our Watchers really showed how creative they are!  Well done to everybody who took part, we were so impressed with you all.

Congratulations to our winners!

Emily Toon, aged 9

Emily made this fantastic hedgehog out of objects she found outside!

Kim said: "I chose Emily Toon's hedgehog because I loved the use of natural resources, and frankly the daisy eyes are just the best things ever."

Freya Mein, aged 9

Freya made this stunning red fox out of clay and then painted him.

Kim said: "I chose Freya Mein's fox because I liked its simplicity, and the combination of a featureless 2D exterior, even with a black outline, despite it still being 3D."

 Tillie Moore, aged 10

We loved Tillie's milk bottle owl - what a great way to recycle!

Kim said: "I chose Tillie Moore's owl because it was quite unique against the other entries, and really quite clever. The use of a handle for the owl's nose was brilliant since the whole central line of an owl's face stands out a fair bit due to the concave shape of their faces."
