How to identify: Larger than Bewick's Swan, with more yellow and less black on the bill.
Where: A few pairs nest in Scotland, but most of our Whooper Swans nest in Iceland, and winter in northern Britain and East Anglia.
Fantastic fact: In the spring, Whooper Swans will fly, non-stop, from Scotland all the way to Iceland.
