About: A large thrush, about 28cm long. Pale greyish brown above, with a white belly covered in round black spots. Mistle Thrushes are common birds of parks and gardens, as well as woodland and scrub.

How to identify: Larger and greyer brown than the Song Thrush with rounder spots.
