We've been doing this all my life, it's extremely useful for the chicken muck. One day, after a day of gardening, though, and I looked to see what time it was, and my watch was issing. It turned up 9 months later in the compost bin, still working.

We have a big wooden composter and my mum has special worms that turn the fruit peelings etcetera, into compost! It's easy to do and everyone should compost!

Its so cool when people compost because its really good for the envirement and loads of hedgehogs, badgers and birds come to it so they can eat all the worms and other insects in it.
