Educational Services

Dorset Wildlife Trust has worked with schools across Dorset for many years and offers the following services:

• An Education Outreach Programme that delivers environmental activities in school grounds.
• A Schools Wildlife Partnership so that a school can become a member of Dorset Wildlife Trust and obtain discounts at Education Centres and Outreach Programme as well as various resources and other benefits.
• We have five Education Centres which provide an opportunity for close encounters with wildlife at:
  • The Kingcombe Centre, Toller Porcorum, Dorchester
  • Lorton Meadows Nature Reserve, Weymouth
  • Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve, Kimmeridge, Wareham
  • Brownsea Island Nature Reserve, Poole Harbour
  • Urban Wildlife Centre, Corfe Mullen, Wimborne
